We have been retelling the story of the Gingerbread Man this term and as you know, the Gingerbread Man gets eaten by the sly fox as he tries to cross the river. So what would be a better way for the Gingerbread Man to cross the river? Our technology challenge has begun!
The students are learning to work in small groups as they explore and create different contraptions to help the Gingerbread Man. At the end of the term, the class will evaluate and decide which method or contraption would be best.
Here is a brief learning story about the first method we created and tried.
